Triple Threat Match for the #1 Contender Spot
Chris Jericho vs. Batista vs. Randy Orton

Back from commercial and the former World Champion Chris Jericho is out first for this match. Out next is Randy Orton to a nice pop followed by Batista. As Orton made his way out, we saw Cody Rhodes and Manu backstage watching on a monitor.

The match starts with Batista fighting both guys off. He puts Jericho back in the corner and goes to work on Orton in the other corner. Batista works Orton over and goes back to Jericho. Shoulder block and a 2 count by Batista on Jericho. Batista goes back to Orton and drops him. Big boot and a 2 count by Batista. Jericho decks Batista and hits him with right hands now. Batista fights back and kicks Orton to the floor. Batista runs the ropes and Orton trips him, taking him to the floor. Jericho dropkicks Batista and battles with Orton in the ring now.

Orton takes Jericho down in the ring and starts to stalk him as Jericho tries to get up. We go back to commercial break.

Back from commercial and Jericho has Batista in the corner and rolls him up for a 2 count. Orton makes the save. During the break, Batista pulled Orton to the floor when he went for the RKO on Jericho. Orton starts to stomp Batista now and gets a 2 count. Orton stomps some more on Batista. Orton pounds on Batista some more now with right hands. Jericho and Orton start stomping on Batista together now. Jericho throws Batista into an Orton clothesline. Orton decks Jericho. Jericho with an enziguri on Orton for a 2 count.

Batista catches Jericho in a tilt-a-whirl slam for a 2 count. Running clothesline by Batista crushes Orton. Powerslam by Batista and another 2 count. Orton catches Jericho in a powerslam for a close 2 count. Batista hits Orton with a big spinebuster. Jericho goes for the Codebreaker but Batista catches him. Jericho counters the Batista Bomb and locks the Walls of Jericho on Batista. Orton breaks the hold with a clothesline on Jericho. Orton with his backbreaker move on Batista. Orton starts to stalk Batista now on the mat.

Orton goes for the punt kick but Batista spears him for a 2 count as Jericho breaks it up. Jericho takes advantage and pins Orton to get the win and go to Armageddon to face John Cena.

Winner and new #1 contender: Chris Jericho

Im getting tired of Jericho now. I dont think Batista would be a good contender, I think Orton should be the #1 contender. Batista is losing popularity. Just look at Survivor Series the people where happy to see Orton beat The Animal. Well im just saying.

Well im not sure about Dave loosing popularity as this was wrote about Raw this week

“Y2J comes out to the ring in wrestling gear. Orton is next out to the ring while Y2J stands there glaring at the fans. Cody and Manu are watching Orton on the monitor out back. Batista is last out to huge pop”

Sorry no disrepect to you Eddie no offence meant there im Just saying thats all that if he was loosing popularity he wouldnt be getting a huge pop on RAW.But like i said Eddie no offence meant

You are right Batistafan4life, I think it’s regional, because look at John Cena, they absolutly hate his GUTS in
Atlanta, I notice in San Diego Rey Mysterio has big pops, while Batista has some luke warm pops, When they were in the Indiana, Ilinois area Batista is huge, he’s also a huge fan favorite in europe, at least that what I’ve read.

Eddie hold it right there, you see Batista will always be a good contender and I mean always and look what you think he always gets title shot all the time WWE said that he will stay in the title story until he done with WWE.

I greed with Batistafan4life, if Batista is a losing popularity he wouldn’t be making big at Raw.

And Batista is not a bad contender EDDIE! and what happening at Survivor Series manes noting that’s why he’s still making big at Raw last night SO HAHA! Shut your mouth.

Why Doesnt Batista body build anymore, it sucks to see him get droped down by smaller wrestler’s, what happend to leviathan? The Raw Monster we knew in 2003??? BATISTA WOULD IT KILL U TO GET UR BODY STRENGHT BACK like in the old days?? JUST FEW MORE YEARS COME ON!! IMPRESS THE WEE AND THE REST OF THE WRESTLER’S~ OWN THEM ALL!
